C is for Cookie!

So today was the letter C in Joy School. We had cheese and crackers for our snack, talked about cars, circles, cows and clocks and just for fun we made cookies! I learned some really important things about the boys during this process. Spencer is very conservative with cookie dough and frosting. Logan wants all of his and Spencer's. If you pay close attention to the frosting section of the video you'll notice that one of Logan's cookies has about 3/4 of the frosting. Spencer would rather not climb on the counter to get more. Logan will get it whatever way he can! Needless to say, it was a BLAST!

Adventures in Babysitting!

So every Friday night we have a babysitting swap with some other couples. We get kids the 2nd Friday of each month from
5:30 to 8:30. This past Friday was the first time we had all kids including Mckay Carlson. So we had two almost two year olds (Logan and Spencer) two approximately 15 month olds (Gavin and Edison) one six month old (Mckay) and a two month old (Chloe). I thought it was a blast and Seth thought we are done having kids! Aside from the craziness it was a blast and everyone survived. Here is a picture of the crew! Not the best picture but you try to get all of them to sit still and smile at once!

Joy School

Logan has started school! My good friend Chrissy and I are taking turns teaching the boys. We have a letter of the day, themes and all kinds of fun! I taught the first day and we learned about A is for Apple and Ants! Chrissy taught B and Logan came home singing "Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear"! So stinkin' cute! He even says A B now instead of B A! Woohoo! Tomorrow is my turn again and we are doing C is for Cars, Clocks, and COOKIES! It is so much fun and Logan and Spencer LOVE it! In fact, when I put him to bed tonight I told him that tomorrow is school and if he stays in his bed when he wakes up it will be time for school and Spencer! I don't know what was the motivator, school or Spencer but it worked!

Ragtime!

Just a few pictures of our CUTE babe and our WILD boy dancing! Enjoy our Ragtime!

The Real Deal

So I haven't posted a big event. This happened in January and Iknow I'm slow but better late than never! Seth had his white coat ceremony. It is basically a transition from 'student to provider'. He gets to see his first patient on Wednesday and is so excited! Congrats Seth! We are so proud of you!
