More Fun With The Camera

Okay, again, playing with the camera (really need to take that class) and took these pictures of our Day Lilies in the back yard. I thought they turned out kind of cool. Maybe I'll blow them up and put them in my house somewhere!

Swim Lesson and the Splash Park

So, Logan may look, walk, talk, act and think like his dad but when it comes to the water, he is just like his mom!!! He LOVES it! We signed him up for a parent and tot swim class and he LOVES it and does GREAT! He loves to kick his feet, move his arms and even go under!

We've been to the splash park this summer. It was a warm day but when the wind picks up in Colorado it can be cool, especially if you are all wet! He was freezing but just kept playing. He took the best nap that day! Maybe we should do the splash park everyday! Chloe did what girls do best....sat on the side, looked cute and soaked up some sunshine!

Photo Shoot

So, I've been playing with the camera a little more. Can I just tell you I LOVE IT! I'm going to take a class in July with a good friend so we can actually learn to use our super cool cameras! Anyway, here are a few more pictures I've taken of kiddos and stuff.

Nothing too exciting going on. Seth is super busy with school and I've been in this major spring cleaning mode. It feels good to have some deep cleaning done. Now, the surface cleaning! =)

Chloe was feverish the beginning of the week and when I took her in they said it was viral. Fever broke and all was well, or so I thought. After being around pregnant women, newborns and lots of kids today we came home and took naps. Well, this afternoon her "trunk" was covered with spots. Seth thinks it is chicken pox and that he may have brought it home from school. Yeehaw. I called everybody we were around (sorry again guys) and gave them a warning. However, when I got home from enrichment (I showered before I went so I didn't spread anything) he said he thinks now she could be having a reaction to something she's eaten. We don't know because she hasn't had anything new. Guess we'll wait it out.

Logan is keep us as busy as ever. His new thing is "mommy, I need that." We were walking down the soda aisle at the grocery store because the popcorn is down there. He points to some soda and with the most convincing little face he points and says, "mommy, I need that." Logan got to hang out with his buddy Matt (Seth's classmate) while we went to the temple. Logan got to play the boxing game with Matt on the Wii while Matt would say "knock him out, kick his butt." Seth and I laughed about it, whatever. We put him in the car and while Seth was buckling him he said, "Daddy, I kick his butt." We could not stop laughing! He hasn't said it since (thankfully) but it was so funny. We decided we were going to have Levi, Matt's son over again and teach him to talk!!!

Finally Some Updates....

Okay, so I've received some complaints that I haven't updated the blog in a while. Well, we got home from visiting family in Arizona (thanks to everyone, we had a blast) and are finally starting to get back to normal. I have some fun pictures of the splash park and stuff here when we can home that I'll post later. However, here are a few from our trip.

Logan had an agenda. He wanted to ride "Yucky" (Lucky) the 'orse' (horse), a cow, a rah (dog), a tractor and Dee. He did ride the horse and tractor so 2 out of 5 isn't bad for a 2-year-old! He had a BLAST playing with cousins and grandparents and is having a hard time adjust back to boring old mom. We are coping.

Our goal was to have little Chloe (six months) sitting up by the time we went to Arizona and we can proudly say she is a master! She's now putting the Cheerios in her mouth! She's got quite the little personality and Logan is going to get a run for his money. He had a toy today and was sitting by her and she scooted around until she could reach it, grabbed a hold and didn't let go! The next two years are going to be rather interesting!
