I've been looking for these!

I've been looking for the cord for Seth's camera for forever so I could upload some video of the kids! I finally asked if I could just check his backpack (note this has been a few months of off and on looking) and I found it! He says to me, "Oh, that one works but I don't think it is it." I gave a sigh, a roll of the eyes and said thanks! Its a good thing I love him!

This is a little late posting but still worth a look. At Christmas time each of the kids learned a song.

They make a great team!

Logan gave his first primary talk on Sunday. It was on the Atonement. In case you can't understand him (or are distracted by the little curly blond that is in her own world more often then not) here is the talk.
When Jesus lived on the earth, He prayed for us in Gethsemane so that we could live with Heavenly Father again. Every Sunday we come to church to take the sacrament to help us remember Jesus. I am thankful for Heavenly Father and Jesus.

Of course we couldn't leave out video of our happy little guy! We love him so much!

What a Chunk (but an ADORABLE chunk)

This baby! How did we ever live without him! He smiles, coos, sleeps anywhere from 6 to 10 hours at night, never cries and now giggles!

We get smiles a ton but this next picture is also pretty common. Lets face it, if you had to live at our house you would probably wonder what in the world you got yourself into too!
(FYI - this picture was taken during the Nerf war)

He is 3 months old (in a week anyway) and weighs about 15 lbs! We are all absolutely in love with this fat baby!

what's a new toy without a WAR!

This is my favorite part of the day. Daddy comes home and the chaos begins!

After spending some time tracing her hand she decided that the action was the place to be!

She has a pretty good aim!

Its times like these that I LOVE and live for!

Growing Up and Moving On To Bigger and Better

So with Logan quickly approaching 4 (too quick if you ask me, but I'm just the mom) we are trying to break some habits and become a bigger "big boy". The other day the kids were watching Swan Princess (it was Chloe's turn to pick) and Prince Derek had a bow and arrow. I was cleaning my room and Logan says, "Mom, come in here I have to tell you something!" So I go in and sit by him and very matter of fact like this is how the conversation went:

Logan: Mom, can I get a bones and arrow?
Mom: Why?
Logan: Just so I can practice shooting with it.
Mom: What are you going to shoot?
Logan (thinking): Umm, may I can just shoot the walls or something, just to see if I can hit what I want to.
Mom: We'll see (the ultimate answer to any question).

So, I had a grand idea! After talking to Seth, this is the conversation Logan and I had today.

Mom: So Logan, what would you say if I said we can go get you a bow and arrow if you will throw your blankie in the trash.
Logan: Okay Mom!
Mom: No Logan, that means you can never, ever have it again. It will be gone. Not to sleep with or drive (he gets to take it to AZ when we drive) or anything.
Logan: Okay Mom! Lets go!

Seth came home early and we went out and found this kid a "bones and arrow". We came home, put it together and well....

(He really wasn't this sad, he was being silly)

Nice upgrade!

Funnies

I wish I wrote down more of the conversations I have or hear during the day. I need to be better at that. So, here are today's funnies.

While Logan, Chloe and I are playing basketball in Logan's room I made a few baskets and said,
"Momma's smoooooooth".

Logan after moving closer to make a basket says, "Mom, we are smoothies!"

Loved it!

While getting Chloe dressed today:

Mom: Chloe, lets go comb your hair okay. Should we just do two little pigs today?

Chloe: No mommy, I want it cute and I don't want daddy to do it!

I Can't Help It.

I have to post this picture.
Its too cute not to.
It reminds me they really do love each other
(even if it is only when sleeping).
This is what I found when checking on the kids after I put them to bed in their own rooms!
I can't think of a better way to end my day.
(smile).
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
