Okay, so I was uploading my pictures to the computer and realized it has been a long while since I've posted some of the everyday life stuff or even taken recent pictures for that matter. I know, I know, we are so exciting that you can hardly stand it. Anyway, so this first post is random pictures of fun things we've done. The Aquarium (Logan and Seth were totally drenched by the Sting Ray, apparently you aren't supposed to grab them), Logan & Spencer playing the piano, Miss Chloe in her Bumbo chair (not so comfortable to sleep in), Easter with Arizona friends, cousins in Arizona and Logan helping with the laundry.
Nothing very new to report. Our baby can now roll back to front and only does it when mom isn't around to see. She's been doing it for about a week now and I've never actually seen her do it but I've found her on her tummy when I've left her on her back. Silly girl. She is full of smiles and I am so happy to report she is starting to cuddle! Woohoo! I LOVE cuddle babies and was rather disappointed in the beginning when she didn't like to cuddle. What a sweetie she is. She's getting so big so fast. She's at such a fun age, 5 months. I can't believe how fast it has gone.
Logan is still into everything and then some. I shouldn't complain too much. He's always been such a mellow kid that now that he's exploring a little more I should be able to handle it with all those patience I built up for the past two years! Ha. Funny. No, he really is good and I really am patient (most of the time).

My Baby Is No Longer My Baby
Okay, I tried to post this the night on Logan's birthday party but got all emotional. Those of you that know me know that this is a totally normal thing for me but I had to quit and I'm fine today (I think). So, Logan turned 2 last week and I'm realizing now more than ever that my baby is no long my baby. So, even though he can't read and may never see this post, this is for him.

I love the way you smile that big cheesy smile and give that fake laugh when you are 'trying' to be funny. I love the way you wake up in the morning and are instantly concerned about your sister and if she's awake, you give her a kiss. I love how you run (it looks more like a speed walk). I love how you are so shy around people until it is time to leave and then you'll tell them bye! I love how you tease mom and dad with who you love more just to get a rise out of us! I love all your help with the dishes even when you put the dirty ones away. Although it wasn't funny at the time, I love the innocent way you said "yes" when I asked you if we are supposed to write all over ourselves with marker while mom is in the shower. I love to watch you think things through and concentrate so hard and how you can make something work. I love to listen to you say your prayers and then in five minutes hear you snoring. I love that you still want to cuddle. I love how you 'exercise' to stall bedtime. I love you kisses and squeezes. Although I would never be able to write everything I love about you I think what I love most of all is how you make me so happy. You are a huge blessing in our lives and I don't know how we could have ever been happy without you here and a part of our family. You are growing up so fast and I am so grateful that I have the chance to be your mother..JPG)

More Stories and Family Pictures
Okay, so its been a while since we've posted anything new. We don't have too much new and exciting going on but here are our updates.
Seth is on Spring Break this week. Woohoo! I am LOVING having him home and we have done nothing but play. Its been great! He's really getting into the clinic now at school and is loving it.
We just attempted to celebrate 5 years of marriage. I say attempted because we had a sitter for BOTH kids and we were going to get all dressed up and go out to a nice dinner. That day Logan had a fever and we ended up canceling. Doesn't looking like we are going to have a make up day either. We were kind of sad but this is the life of parenting and we wouldn't trade that for anything (well, maybe a full night's sleep)!
I just had my Spring Break two weeks ago. I got all of my canning done and a few projects I've been wanting to do. It was so nice not to have to be on the computer at night but I am enjoying being back into a routine.
Mom, Sas, Kyle, Evan and Todd came to visit last week. We did more canning, shopping and just hung out. It was so much fun to have them and even though I knew I'd be down seeing them in two weeks I still cried like a baby when they left. Thanks for driving our car up guys! I know the trip was LONG but it was so fun!
Logan is doing something new everyday. He is talking a ton (more like a little parrot) and it is SO hard to discipline sometimes. He's a pretty smart kid and he keeps us on our toes. For instance, he is terrible at hide and seek. He laughs the entire time he's hiding and if you don't find him within 10 seconds he comes looking. Well, the other day I was talking to mom and came out of my bedroom and found some DVD cases open with no movie. I began calling his name and nothing. I looked in every room both upstairs and down and still nothing. I started to panic when I decided to look behind the couch (I could have sworn I already had) and low and behold, there he was, DVD in hand with that little smirk. I had to turn to laugh. A few weeks ago they came bringing him to me from nursery (surprise, surprise) and Seth was teaching primary. So, after 10 minutes of disrupting the Young Women lesson I decided we'd go back to nursery together. So I walk down the hall, two bags on my shoulder, an empty plate (it had cookies for the YW), a carseat with a 15 pound sleeping baby and Logan crying holding onto my skirt. What a sight I know. The chapel doors with the other ward in sacrament meeting were open and the nursery just happens to be across the hall. Logan last saw Seth in the chapel and runs in yelling 'dada, dada' down the middle of the aisle. I dropped my bags and baby and ran in after him. Needless to say, Logan went to primary that day. He keeps us busy but he is so much fun! He new thing right now is he wants Chloe to say the prayer, all the time. No convincing him otherwise. Too cute!
Chloe is growing like a weed. She talks non-stop all day and when she's not talking she's wanting to be held. She is a little girl with a mind of her own and she cracks us up. We love to squeeze her fat legs and cheeks and try to make her laugh. She only does it when SHE wants to.
Welp, same old around here. We just had our family pictures done and here are a few. A friend in our ward did them and we got like 300 pictures. They all turned out so cute and most of them posted on here are black and white because those are the ones on my wall and I didn't know the numbers to the color ones to download. Anyway, you get the general idea. Thanks Teri! They turned out AWESOME and we LOVE them!

C is for Cookie!
So today was the letter C in Joy School. We had cheese and crackers for our snack, talked about cars, circles, cows and clocks and just for fun we made cookies! I learned some really important things about the boys during this process. Spencer is very conservative with cookie dough and frosting. Logan wants all of his and Spencer's. If you pay close attention to the frosting section of the video you'll notice that one of Logan's cookies has about 3/4 of the frosting. Spencer would rather not climb on the counter to get more. Logan will get it whatever way he can! Needless to say, it was a BLAST!

Adventures in Babysitting!
So every Friday night we have a babysitting swap with some other couples. We get kids the 2nd Friday of each month from
5:30 to 8:30. This past Friday was the first time we had all kids including Mckay Carlson. So we had two almost two year olds (Logan and Spencer) two approximately 15 month olds (Gavin and Edison) one six month old (Mckay) and a two month old (Chloe). I thought it was a blast and Seth thought we are done having kids! Aside from the craziness it was a blast and everyone survived. Here is a picture of the crew! Not the best picture but you try to get all of them to sit still and smile at once!
